Spring Training 2027 in Arizona: ballpark drop-off, parking and rides

A spring training ride from Scottsdale Sprinters starts with the day your group is having: a ballpark crew or a bachelor weekend at the game, a family or a fan club with a few games on the list, or a VIP day in the Maybach Jet. This guide covers the ten Cactus League ballparks with only what the league, the teams and the ballparks publish, and says plainly what is announced closer to the date.

Is there parking at Scottsdale Stadium, and where is the drop-off?

Very little. The Giants say parking at Scottsdale Stadium is very limited, with a select number of spaces at the Scottsdale Library and Civic Center, and they encourage fans to walk, bike or take rideshare. The drop-off zones are at Gate A on 75th Street and Gate E on Drinkwater Boulevard, and gates open 2 hours before game time. The Osborn Road lot is reserved for Giants and City of Scottsdale personnel only, so it is not a place to park or to wait. The stadium has four gates: Home Plate Plaza at Drinkwater Boulevard and Osborn Road, Gate A in centerfield facing 75th Street, Gate E on the third-base side along Drinkwater Boulevard, and Gate F in the left-field corner. The Giants list the Gate A and Gate E drop-off zones under accessibility. We treat them as the stadium’s published drop-off points, never as a spot reserved for us: the chauffeur unloads at the zone, or where stadium and city staff direct, and the group walks in from there. A 2027 spring training trolley has not been announced. The chauffeured alternative is the simple one: we pick the group up at the hotel or home, nobody hunts for one of the few spaces, and the vehicle comes back for the ride home after the last out. Game times are announced closer to the date, so the pickup is set once the league posts them.

Where do you park at Sloan Park, and where do rideshares drop off?

Sloan Park’s lots open 4 hours before Cubs spring training games, and gameday parking is first come, first served and cashless, by credit card. Rideshares drop off and pick up outside the Right Field Gate, across Sheffield Avenue, and a free shuttle runs from Mesa Riverview, across from the park, to Cubs home games. Tempe Marketplace also runs a trolley to and from Cubs home games at Sloan Park. Both shuttles drop off at the First Base Gate. Parking prices depend on the lot, and the Cubs sell a limited number of pre-sale single-game and group spaces in the Purple Lot. Sloan Park is the Cubs’ spring home in Mesa, and the league’s last game of 2027, the Brewers at the Cubs on Tuesday, March 23, is played there. A chauffeured group uses the published rideshare point outside the Right Field Gate, or unloads where staff direct, and meets the vehicle at the same side of Sheffield Avenue after the game.

Where do rideshares and drop-offs go at Salt River Fields?

Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, at 7555 North Pima Road in Scottsdale, suggests the access road along the grass-field parking lots, or the Centerfield Parking Lots, for pickup and drop-off. There are 3 entrances off Pima Road. It is the spring home of the Diamondbacks and the Rockies. The ballpark’s 2027 lot prices and its accessible drop-off are not yet published: its A to Z still describes the 2026 season, so this page prints neither. For the ride back, the group gathers at one pedestrian point first and the trip lead confirms the vehicle’s position before anyone walks toward traffic; event-day signs and staff direct the actual vehicle movement.

Where do you park and get dropped off at the other Cactus League ballparks?

Each park sets its own rules. Camelback Ranch, Peoria Sports Complex and Surprise Stadium park free, and Goodyear Ballpark is free with a game ticket; Hohokam Stadium is cash only, and Tempe Diablo and American Family Fields are cashless or card only. Only Peoria publishes a bus drop-off, at Mariners Way off 83rd Avenue. Camelback Ranch-Glendale (the Dodgers and the White Sox): parking is free, with no overnight parking, and the gates open 60 minutes before first pitch. No rideshare or drop-off zone is published, so the chauffeur unloads where ballpark staff direct. Hohokam Stadium in Mesa (the Athletics): on-site parking is cash only, and the gates open 1.5 hours before game time. No rideshare or drop-off zone is published. Tempe Diablo Stadium (the Angels): rideshare drop-off and pickup is just outside the Alameda Drive entrance to the west parking lot, and no pickup or drop-off is allowed inside that lot. Both lots are entered from Alameda Drive and open 2.5 hours before home games, and the venue is cashless. American Family Fields of Phoenix (the Brewers): drop-offs and rideshares use the designated space along 53rd Avenue and Indian School, outside the parking lot. Parking is sold on the day only, by card, with more charged for oversized and larger vehicles, and the lots open 3 hours before the game. Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 North 83rd Avenue (the Padres and the Mariners): rideshare pickup and drop-off is near Stadium Way and Paradise Lane, just west of the Gate D entrance. Buses enter at Mariners Way off 83rd Avenue, where the bus passenger drop-off is. Parking is free, with no overnight parking, and the gates typically open 90 minutes before the published game time. Surprise Stadium (the Rangers and the Royals): the designated rideshare and drop-off loading zone is just north of the Surprise Aquatic Center. Parking is free, with more than 1,600 spaces, and the gates open 1.5 hours before game time. Goodyear Ballpark, 1933 South Ballpark Way (the Guardians and the Reds): rideshare pickup and drop-off is in the VIP parking lot, reached from Wood Boulevard north of Lower Buckeye Road, and drop-off is also available at the Third Base Entrance. Parking is free with a game ticket, with no overnight parking, and the gates open 1.5 hours before game time.

When is spring training in Arizona in 2027?

As scheduled by the Cactus League, Opening Day is Friday, February 19, 2027, with 8 games, and the last Cactus League game is Tuesday, March 23, 2027. That is 229 games in about five weeks. Game times are announced closer to the date: the league lists every one of them as to be determined. One date to know before you book: Major League Baseball’s collective bargaining agreement with its players is set to expire on December 1, 2026. The dates on this page are the Cactus League’s published schedule. We recheck them after December 1 and update this page if the league changes anything. If a game you planned around moves, every booking allows one free date change when you ask 72 or more hours before pickup, subject to availability: the deposit travels to the new date and the new date’s rate applies. Saturday and Sunday games in the Cactus League window, February 19 to March 23, 2027, are major-event dates on our booking calendar, so they run on the 60-day major-event cancellation window, with the deposit non-refundable. Weekday games follow the standard or large-group terms, depending on the size of the group. The booking step flags a major-event date before anything is paid.

The Maybach Shuttle Sprinter seats 8 in custom Maybach seats, and the Luxury SUV (Suburban) carries up to 6. Count riders for each direction. A group that arrives together for first pitch does not always leave together, and anyone leaving with another group comes off the return list before the chauffeur plans the pickup.

Can a party bus, limo or charter drop off at a spring training ballpark?

Only Peoria Sports Complex publishes a bus rule: buses enter at Mariners Way off 83rd Avenue, where the bus passenger drop-off is. None of the 10 ballparks publishes a permit rule for limos or party buses, so our chauffeur uses the park’s published drop-off or rideshare zone, or unloads where staff direct. Two other published rules matter for a bigger vehicle. American Family Fields charges more for oversized and larger vehicles that park, and Tempe Diablo Stadium allows no pickup or drop-off inside its west lot. Where the vehicle waits during the game is confirmed with the reservations team before the day, not decided at the gate. For the ride back, name one meeting point and one trip lead before the group goes in. After the last out the lead counts heads, confirms the vehicle’s position with the chauffeur and walks the group there together, rather than everyone chasing a map pin at once.
