Is this a shared airport shuttle?

No. Scottsdale Sprinters runs private group shuttles out of Phoenix Sky Harbor: you reserve the whole vehicle for your own party, it makes no stops for anyone else, and the price is per vehicle rather than per seat. Scottsdale Sprinters holds the Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) ground transportation permit. That changes the arithmetic for a group. A shared-ride van charges each traveller and collects other passengers on the way; a private shuttle charges one trip price however many of your seats you fill, so the cost per head falls as the group grows. It also means the shuttle leaves when your group is together, with your bags, and goes to the addresses you gave.

What does a private airport shuttle from Sky Harbor cost?

Published shuttle trips run $295 to $1,250 depending on the vehicle, before 8% Arizona sales tax. A shuttle trip is flat within 15 road miles from pickup to drop-off, and a longer one is priced from the drive with the empty return included; the quote shows which applies. The per-seat figure is the trip price divided by the seats, for planning a group budget only: you pay for the vehicle, not the headcount. Book the return to the airport on the same reservation and the 20% return credit applies, so the Executive Black Sprinter back to Sky Harbor is $236 rather than $295.

Which shuttle fits our group and its luggage?

Count seats and suitcases separately, then take the smallest shuttle that clears both. The shuttles on this page seat 14 to 56, and every one of them carries a published bag count. Up to 14 travellers fit an Executive Black Sprinter with room for 40 bags. Past that, the Executive Mini Bus — Grech (27 Pax) seats 27 with room for 40 bags and the Executive Mini Coach (29 Pax) seats 29 with room for 30 bags. The 56-Passenger Motorcoach takes 56 and has underfloor bays for 125 bags, the one vehicle for a whole flight's worth of a group. The Maybach Shuttle Sprinter and the Mini Bus (24 Pax) are left off this page on purpose: without a luggage figure we can publish, they are not sold as an airport shuttle. Our flights land at different times. One shuttle or several runs?

Two ways work. Book each arrival wave as its own shuttle trip at the trip price, or reserve the shuttle by the hour so it waits at the airport and collects each flight in turn. Separate trips suit two or three waves spread across the day: each run is its own trip price, and a small wave can take a smaller vehicle than the big one. The hourly block suits waves that land close together, or a group that wants one vehicle standing by: rate times billable hours, never below the vehicle's own minimum. The Executive Mini Coach (29 Pax) is $225 per hour on a 4-hour minimum, a $900 block before tax, against $550 for a single trip. Either way, give us every flight on the manifest. Flight tracking is included on airport work, so a late arrival moves its own pickup rather than stranding the rest of the group at the curb.

Can one booking cover more than one shuttle?

Yes, for the shuttles we run more than one of. A single reservation takes up to 3 of the same unit, so 3 Executive Mini Coaches move 87 seated travellers together. The units a booking can multiply are the Executive Black Sprinters, Executive White Sprinters, Grech Mini Buses and Executive Mini Coaches. The 56-Passenger Motorcoach is one of a kind, so a group bigger than it adds a second vehicle on its own reservation. At 20 or more passengers a booking sits in the large-group cancellation tier, so read that tier before you confirm.

What goes on a group shuttle manifest?

Six things: each flight's airline and number with the headcount on it, the total bag count, the drop-off address for every hotel or home in the group, any stop on the way, the name of the person meeting the shuttle, and a mobile number that will be answered on the day. Send the manifest with the quote request and update it if a flight changes. An added stop on a shuttle trip is $50; a greeter who meets the group at baggage claim with a name sign and helps with the bags is $200 and is optional. The pickup instruction for your terminal comes from the chauffeur, and the confirmation states which pickup method you booked.

Who books a private group shuttle from the airport?

The arrivals that fill a shuttle are the ones where a whole group lands for one reason: a conference or company offsite, a wedding weekend with guests on several flights, a golf trip, and a team or school travelling together. For a wedding, put the guest shuttle both ways on one reservation so the return credit applies; for a conference, book the arrival day and the departure day as two trips; for golf, count the clubs as bags. The shuttle is the same vehicle in every case; the manifest is what changes.

How do the deposit, balance and cancellation work?

A 50% deposit confirms the shuttle, the balance is charged to the card on file 48 hours before pickup, and 8% Arizona sales tax is added at checkout.
