When is NBA All-Star weekend 2027, and where is it?

NBA All-Star 2027 is in Phoenix from Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21, 2027. The 76th NBA All-Star Game is on Sunday, February 21, at Mortgage Matchup Center, home of the Phoenix Suns, at 201 East Jefferson Street in downtown Phoenix. Tip-off times are announced by the NBA closer to the date. The NBA announced Phoenix as the host on March 7, 2024. Its release names the arena Footprint Center; it is the same building, renamed Mortgage Matchup Center by the Suns and the Mercury on October 2, 2025. Use that name when you book and when you give the address: 201 East Jefferson Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004, on the southeast corner of 1st Street and Jefferson. As announced in March 2024, the on-court events start on Friday, February 19, with a showcase of top rookies and second-year players, then a Saturday night of contests on February 20, and the All-Star Game itself on Sunday, February 21. The NBA also plans a practice, a celebrity game and a fan fest at venues around Phoenix. Where and when each of those takes place is announced by the NBA closer to the date. So this page prints no tip-off time, no Saturday venue and no fan-fest address. When the NBA publishes the 2027 schedule, the reservations team plans each pickup from it, not from a previous year’s weekend. Until then a quote can still hold the days, the hotel, the group size and the vehicle.

Where do you park for the NBA All-Star Game, and where is drop-off?

For a game or event, Mortgage Matchup Center publishes 3rd Street, just south of Jefferson, at the green curb as its drop-off and pickup, and garages within walking distance bought ahead through ParkWhiz. The 2027 All-Star parking and traffic plan is announced closer to the date. With a chauffeured ride nobody drives or parks. The arena’s own event-night plan, which is the one published now: several garages and lots within walking distance, with guests encouraged to buy parking in advance through ParkWhiz. Event parking is generally available from about 30 minutes before doors open, parking does not include in-and-out privileges, and availability, pricing and access may vary by event. The arena lists more than 700 on-site spaces and publishes no price. Valet is available only for select ticketed guests and membership-based areas; it is not open to the general public. Vehicles cannot be parked or left unattended in the drop-off zones, so the curb on 3rd Street is a place to unload, not to wait. Drop-off for will call and the ticket office is on 1st Street, just north of Madison. An All-Star weekend can bring its own street closures and a security perimeter around the arena. None is published for 2027, so this page does not guess one. Your chauffeur unloads at the arena’s published curb or where event and police staff direct, and the reservations team passes on any 2027 instruction the NBA or the city publishes.

Where do rideshares drop off and pick up at Mortgage Matchup Center?

The arena lists 4 Lyft drop-off points: 1st Street at Jefferson by the arena plaza, South 2nd Street, South 3rd Street at the Phoenix Convention Center, and East Jefferson Street. Rideshare pickup is at South 3rd Street and East Jefferson Street, by the Phoenix Convention Center. A booked chauffeur uses the 3rd Street curb or where staff direct. After a game every rideshare in downtown Phoenix is heading for the same corner. That helps a guest who is staying downtown; a group coming from a Scottsdale resort usually wants the door-to-door ride.
