How many people fit in a party bus?

28. The Party Bus (28 Pax) is the party bus in the Scottsdale Sprinters fleet and its canonical seated capacity is 28, so 28 is the answer for that vehicle whatever the occasion. People asking the question usually mean the wider party class, and there the range is 13 to 28: the Limo Party Sprinter (12-13 Pax) at 13, the Ultra Luxury Party Sprinter at 15, the Limo Party Sprinter (16 Pax) at 16, the Pink Hummer Limo at 18 and the Party Bus (28 Pax) at 28. Those five are the celebration units — what a bachelorette, a birthday or a night out is offered — and their seat counts are what the booking system enforces. A group of 28 therefore has exactly one party-class option; a group of 13 has all five.

That step is not arbitrary: 20 passengers is where our own refund engine reclassifies a booking as a large group. Every vehicle above the line is a proper-seat coach — forward-facing seating, an aisle, a chauffeur — rather than a lounge interior, so it carries more people for less per seat but not the same room. One naming note, because it trips people up: the Mini Bus (24 Pax) is named for its seats. The number inside its internal identifier is a retained legacy reference, and 24 is the capacity we sell and book. Above 56 riders the answer is more than one vehicle, not a bigger one. Every capacity we publish is a seated count, and no standing or riding figure exists anywhere in our catalog, so a party bus that seats 28 carries 28. The fare does not move with the headcount, so stepping up a size costs the difference in the hourly rate and nothing per head, while the per-seat column falls as the vehicle grows: a full 56-Passenger Motorcoach is about $29 a head at its minimum, against $54 on the Limo Party Sprinter (12-13 Pax).

What changes the count

Three things, and none of them is the vehicle's seat count moving. Luggage is the first: the bag caps we publish are Ultra Luxury Party Sprinter 6, Limo Party Sprinter (16 Pax) 30, Executive Mini Bus — Grech (27 Pax) 40, Party Bus (28 Pax) 45, Executive Mini Coach (29 Pax) 30, 56-Passenger Motorcoach 125. On the rest — the Limo Party Sprinter (12-13 Pax), the Pink Hummer Limo and the Mini Bus (24 Pax) — no verified bag count exists, so the fit is confirmed in writing with the reservations team instead of guessed at here. The second is whether the unit repeats. Every party-class vehicle is one of a kind, so two party buses is not something we can promise; the executive minis and coach are the units we run more than one of. The third is the minimum. Booking fewer hours than a vehicle's minimum does not lower the total — 56-Passenger Motorcoach bookings bill at least 5 hours, everything else at least 4 — so a short trip for a big group is priced by the floor.

Typical group sizes by occasion

Most enquiries land in three bands: 13–18 riders for a limo Sprinter or the Pink Hummer Limo, 28 for the Party Bus (28 Pax), and a coach at 24 to 56 seats beyond that. The occasion decides the interior; the headcount decides the size. Bachelorette parties, bachelor parties, birthdays and Scottsdale nightlife runs sit in the party class at 13 to 28 seats — a lounge interior for a group that stays together all night. Wedding transportation splits: the couple's vehicle is small, the guest shuttle is a coach running a loop. Does anyone on board not count toward the seats?

No. Your chauffeur is not one of the 28 — the published capacity is passenger seats, and the driver is separate — but every passenger counts, of any age. Age changes what is served, not how many fit: "Drink if you are 21+. Bring what you like." and "No underage drinking. Anyone under 21 stays on soft drinks." A rider under 21 takes a seat exactly like anyone else.
