Arizona's child restraint law
The statute is A.R.S. § 28-907, for general reference.
What we can tell you is narrower and practical: whether a restraint you bring will physically work in the vehicle you are booking.
Bring your own restraint
This is the straightforward path. You know the seat, you know how it installs, and your child is used to it.
Tell us when you book:
- Each child's age, height and weight
- The type of restraint — infant carrier, convertible seat, booster
- How it secures, if you know: seat belt, or lower anchors and tether
What reservations checks
With that information, reservations checks the physical fit — whether the seating position, the belt or anchor hardware, and the cabin layout of the vehicle you are considering will take your restraint.
Some cabins take a restraint easily. Others do not, because of how the seating is arranged. We will tell you which is which for the vehicles on your date, in writing, before you book.
Allow a few minutes at pickup to install and check the restraint yourself before you set off.

Limousine seats and seating, vehicle by vehicle
How many seats a limousine or van has, and how they are arranged, decides whether a child restraint will fit. Check your restraint’s manual for the vehicle seats it may be installed on (many rule out side-facing seats), then tell reservations which vehicle you are considering; they confirm the fit in writing before you book.
On airport and corporate bookings, the checkout also offers a child seat as an add-on: a properly fitted child seat, installed before pickup, at $75.
